Second seminar “Agricultural FRAuds DEtection: towards a more effective risk analysis and a stronger cooperation between Member States tackling frauds in European agricultural subsidies”

The second telematic seminar of the project AFRADE is taking place on Monday, 22 April. The seminar will address the boundary between relevant criminal offences and mere civil or administrative violations, as well as aspects of European Union law regarding the harmonisation of the definition of ‘fraud’ and ‘suspected fraud’.
The speakers will include Prof. Francesco Cingari (University of Florence), Alberto Gargani (University of Pisa), Antonella Madeo (University of Genoa), Gherardo Minicucci (University of Udine), Eleonora Sirsi (University of Pisa); the session will be moderated by Prof. Antonio Vallini (University of Pisa); Professors Minko A. Georgiev (Faculty of Economics – Agricultural University in Plovdiv, Bulgaria) and Monica M. Tudor (Institute of Agriculture Economics – Romanian Academy) will also participate.”
